The 31.Danube Island Festival, Europe s largest open air festival with free entrance, runs from 27. to 29. Juni2021.
Every year at end of June, the popular leisure paradise of the viennese, Danube Island, turns into a huge party mile for young and old.
On the 4,5 km Festival area, the Danube Island Festival offers on 11 stages the right music package for every taste: may it be Rock, Pop, Alternative Indie, Punk, HipHop, Oldies, electro-music, Schlagermusik, folk music, cabaret oder readings - national and international Superstars. About 2,000 artists and over 600 program hours within three days provide real party mood and summer feeling.
Game and fun for families, spectacular shows, sporting sensations and many other surprises will attract visitors from all the world.
More than 250 gastronomy- and sales stalls satisfy almost every culinary demand.
